Started working on a new SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) robot project today. Using ROS2 and a LiDAR sensor to create real-time mapping capabilities. The goal is to build a platform that can navigate unknown environments autonomously.

First challenge: calibrating the sensors properly to account for motion distortion. More updates soon!

Been thinking about the intersection of ancient mythology and modern technology. It's fascinating how Norse mythology has influenced naming conventions in tech - from Thor (AWS's database service) to Odin (knowledge graph systems).

Working on an article about how these mythological metaphors shape our understanding of complex systems. The hammer of Thor becomes a powerful metaphor for tools that "crush" difficult problems.

Exploring how minimalism applies to music production. Created a new track using only three instruments and limited effects. The constraints actually led to more creativity!

Key insight: Reducing options forces you to master what you have rather than constantly seeking new tools. Added the track to my "Experimental Minimalism" playlist.

Decided to redesign my personal website with a cream background instead of the original black. Added ASCII art featuring robotic quadrupeds, music notes, and Norse mythology elements to reflect my interests.

The goal was to create something that feels more personal while maintaining the minimalist terminal aesthetic. Still keeping it lightweight - the entire site is under 100KB!
